About the Course

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can significantly interfere with daily functioning, but Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), specifically Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), is considered the gold-standard psychological treatment. This practical, application-based course equips mental health professionals with the knowledge and skills to confidently assess, conceptualize, and treat OCD using evidence-based CBT interventions. Through engaging lessons, video demonstrations, real-world case examples, and ready-to-use clinical resources, participants will learn how to develop effective ERP treatment plans and support clients in overcoming OCD while building tolerance for uncertainty and reducing compulsive behaviours. Throughout the course, participants will follow an illustrative client through an entire CBT treatment protocol, allowing you to see how key interventions are applied in practice from initial assessment through termination.

If you work with OCD please please take this course. It outlines exposure response prevention in such a helpful way. I've always struggled with ERP and avoided use for a lot of my work because of this anxiety but feel much more confident now, especially with using it with OCD. I'm actually excited in my sessions because I have seen how effective the approach is!
